The main high level work items include the summary below. Detailed Specifications and drawings can be found in the Project Documents named “Project Drawings” and “Contract Specifications” uploaded under the Documents section on the Bidding Portal. In case of any conflicts between the summary below and the Project Documents, the Project Drawings and Contract Specifications documents prevail. 

1. Filter Influent Upgrades

• Remove and re-install existing filter influent flapper valve for each of the 12 filter cells.
• Supply and install modulating buttery valve and actuator for each of the 12 filter cells.
• Modify existing PLC remote I/O control panels for each filter train to add additional I/O capacity by adding cards, terminals, and modifications to free up space within the panels.
• Supply and install breakers, terminals and wiring to/from the existing I/O panels for the new valves power and control.

1. Filter Tank Drain System Upgrades

• Tie-in to existing filter tank drain down nozzles and supply and install drain down collection piping and associated ancillaries for each of the 12 filter cells.
• Supply and install centrifugal pumps and associated ancillaries for each for each of the 3 filter train drain systems.
• Supply and install pump discharge piping and associated ancillaries for each of the 3 filter train drain systems.
• Supply and install breakers, terminals and wiring to/from the existing I/O panels for the new valves power and control.
• Supply and install breakers, terminals and wiring to/from the existing I/O panels for the new pumps control.
• Provide local starter and control station for each drain pump and install new power cabling back to the main electrical room distribution panel.

1. Filter Train #3 Level Instrumentation

• Supply and install hydrostatic level / pressure transmitters on each of the four filter cells of Train #3.
• Provide piping and required tee and accessories to mimic the existing installation on Train #1 and Train #2 for each of the Train #3 filter cells.
• Wire the new transmitters to the Train #3 control panel.
