NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT The Town of Okotoks (the Town) will soon be accepting proposals from qualified teams for the Foothills Okotoks Regional Water Project. The Town has decided on a “Design Build” approach. A two-stage procurement process will occur to pre-qualify Design-Builders for the scope of work for three (3) main project components as noted below: 1. Raw Water Intake, Intake Pump Station, and Reservoir Pump Station 2. Raw Water Reservoir 3. Raw Water Main The Town intends to invite, in accordance with the terms of the RFPQ, pre-qualified design build teams that meet the requirements of the qualification evaluation, to participate in the next stage of the Competitive Selection Process, the Request for Proposals (“RFP”) stage. The Town expects to post the Request for Pre-Qualification document in November or December 2022. The RFP is expected to be released in early 2023, with construction to be completed by the end of 2025. Additional Background Studies will become available in the coming weeks. |
