Summary

Through this Request for Pre-Qualification, the Town of Okotoks invites submissions from organizations that are experienced in performing construction management services and work for upgrades at live wastewater treatment plant facilities, in order to pre-qualify for a 2^nd-stage Request for Proposal to perform such services for a project (the ‘CMAR Project’) to perform the following works at the Okotoks Wastewater Treatment Plant, 200 – 1118 North Railway Street, Okotoks, Alberta:

• Refurbish Activated Primary Clarifier (APC) #1 (a critical constant WWTP Process with no redundancy);
• Refurbish Combined Treatment Unit (CTU) #1 (a WWTP process with some redundancy),
• Upgrade the High Capacity Aluminum Dosing System (a non-critical WWTP process with no redundancy);
• Excavate and install new buried yard piping (an intermittent WWTP process with no redundancy); plus
• Associated works and upgrades.

The project works may be executed in several ‘work segments’ during 2023 and 2024, with exact sequence, scope and schedule to be determined with the selected Construction Manager as part of the services.

The Construction Manager’s services and work will be performed under a contract with the Town of Okotoks, using the CCDC5B-2010 Contract (available at www.ccdc.org), as modified by supplementary conditions.

The intent of this Request for Pre-Qualification is to pre-qualify up to three (3) organizations, for participation in the 2^nd-stage Request for Proposals (RFP) process. During the 2^nd-stage RFP, pre-qualified participants will be invited to provide further details regarding pricing and methodology.
